Development Environment

This chapter describes the development environment setup for building and deploying projects on ESP32 series SoCs.

Prerequisites:

• Ubuntu Desktop 24.04 LTS is used as the development environment for this guide.

The following software has to be installed:

• ESP-IDF framework

• ESP-Matter framework
